indestructible sassy pants

I swim every other day in a chlorine pool, and the surf nyl fabric persists, even drying in the brutal Tucson sun. You do need a bit of a wiggle to get the shorts on if you're hourglass-y. But somehow the cute sassy cut doesn't betray your modesty whilst going commando. . . my go-to shorts!

Hola, Boss of Birdwell: would love love love a halter top in the same fabric :)

For $125 shorts, its pretty embarrassing for the nylon to be pilling within 1 week of wear. Loose threads and strings straight from the factory. Do better, birdwell.

These are great. Slightly hard to get on and off if your proportions are small waist to larger hips. Wish the fly opened wider for easier access. Otherwise - very happy with the sizing and quality!

I love my women 400 Boardshorts - navy. We moved in to a new house with a pool and they are perfect for hanging at the pool.
I would suggest ordering 2 sizes up, so you get them comfortably over your lady hips :)
Birdwell reminds me of when I was a kid in Virginia Beach and all of the our preppy boyfriends and brothers wore them.
It’s so awesome they now make the Boardshorts for females.
I have gotten many compliments on these beauties!

they fit me like a glove!! i have a bit of a butt and most boardies are too straight fitting and tight. the shape of these is just perfect, nice length. Want them in every color

Style not as expected

This is the 3rd pair of Birdwell boardshorts I've bought. the quality is fantastic. But the style of these is different from the images. They sit higher on the waist and flare out wider at the bottom of the short than shown online. The pocket is also narrower than before (I can fit my cell phone in the pocket of the others but not in the pocket of the 400s). If there wasn't such a cost to return them, I would do so.
