I honestly can't believe I haven't bought it in every color. You can dress it up, down, and in between. It is extremely cozy - I was not expecting such high quality, even with birdwell's great reputation. it's kind of a statement piece with the stripes (I get asked about it every time I wear it) but not so out there that you feel like youre stepping out. I love this sweater lol. it does pill a bit but that's how it goes with sweaters sometimes, even when theyre high quality. just scrape them off carefully

I bought the sweater for myself. I love the style and fit but the wool blend pulls like crazy. For the price, I had expected better. Within the first hour of wearing the pilling started. I am constantly defusing or pulling the pills off of the sweater.

I received an olive Comp Stripe Sweater from Santa in 2023, and he brought me another one in oatmeal in 2024. High quality sweaters with classic style, and I love them both. Like their boardshorts, Birdwell delivered great quality with the sweaters.
