A breathable bulwark against the wind and weather. Inspired by the Birdwell archives.
Invented by the Inuit for protection against the harsh elements, adapted for service by the military, and adopted by early climbers in Yosemite valley, the anorak was created to endure in every sense. Inspired by designs found in our archives, our own Cotton Anorak is cut and sewn in Santa Ana from a sturdy mid-weight cotton that’s been tumbled for 30 minutes with high surface area pumice stones for a soft hand, broken-in feel and vintage look. We’ve also added a large kangaroo pocket in front for cold hands and daily essentials (or whatever else the weather necessitates) and a bell-shaped bottom that makes getting it on and off as easy as wearing it, complemented by a rope cord at the hem to tighten things down when the cold winds kick up.

Fabric: Stone-washed 100% cotton canvas with DWR finish.
