A classic BDU jacket cut from ripstop poplin and reinforced with Hoffman Aloha print.
It’s no secret that the most enduring pieces in menswear were forged in the fire of service—from the humble t-shirt to the hearty field jacket. We’ve created our own version of the all-purpose wardrobe staple with standout style inspired by surfing’s ancestral home, Hawai’i, where military and surf heritage developed hand-in-glove. Purpose-built here in California from cotton poplin—the same material used for our uniforms in WWII—and reinforced on the interior with hits of Hoffman Tropical Paradise Aloha print, our Aloha Field Jacket has enough versatility and personality to rise to the top ranks of any closet.
The Aloha Field Jacket is built for utility and style, with four bartack-reinforced expandable pockets, a removable velcro “ALOHA” patch on the left chest, with the choice of adding more velcro patches from our Field Patch Collection, consisting of the CA State Flag, OK Birdie , or GI Birdwell , patch on the right sleeve. Check out the thumbnail images to see them in action. You can also purchase the entire Field Patch Collection as a bundle so you have options for whatever the mission requires.
Cut and sewn by our craftspeople in Santa Ana and finished with solid redwood buttons, the Aloha offers some seriously fun protection to command and control any situation, from single-prop plane adventures in Central America to an emergency stint behind the bar in Santorini.
