Measurements are in inches. Birdwell board shorts are cut & sewn by hand in Santa Ana, CA; as a result, please allow up to a 1/4" variance in actual product measurements.

Birdwell uses only the highest quality and most durable materials available. We use two main fabrics for our board shorts:

SurfNyl™

• Our original, proprietary nylon fabric. Extremely durable and will break in over time similar to denim.
• SurfNyl has effectively zero stretch or give. For a more relaxed fit, we recommend ordering 1 size up from your normal pant size.
• Featured on the following Men's styles: 310, 311, 312.
• Featured on the following Women's styles: 402, 403.

SurfStretch™

• Our newer, more technical 4-way stretch fabric. Lighter, softer, and more flexible than SurfNyl.
• SurfStretch does stretch or give to a certain extent. We recommend ordering your normal pant size.
• Featured on the following Men's styles: 807, 808.
• Featured on the following Women's styles: 404, 405.

Usage

• Please keep in mind that fit preference will vary.
• If you live an active lifestyle in the water, you will likely want your shorts to fit more snug.
• If relaxing by the pool is more your scene, some additional room in the waist may be preferable.
• Birdwell board shorts are intended to sit directly on the hips.
