Birdwell is extremely proud to have teamed up with fellow Los Angeles–based brand Garrett Leight California Optical to create a capsule collection inspired by the unique landscape and culture of Southern California. With graphics designed by local artist John Antoski, an emphasis on subtle colors and classic silhouettes, and a positive environmental message, these six pieces embody all the things that make both Birdwell and Garrett Leight quintessential LA brands. 

This unstructured five-panel hat is made from cotton canvas in a deep shade of black with contrasting olive stitching at the seams and eyelets for an extra hit of color. Adjustable at the back, the front features a hit of black Velcro for attaching whatever patch you want to use to express yourself. We’ve included an orange wave-motif patch, but you can find three others that come with the special GLCO x Birdwell Competition Jacket too.
